Hoping this works for catching the fireworks tonight. The wind should be light; I hope my bag doesn’t blow away. I should have weighted it with something, at least the battery pack.

Well, the camera pooped out after 15 minutes. I suspect it got too hot. The advice is to remove the internal battery and just run on the external power, and to put some shade over it. I might build a little cardboard house. Maybe reduce the image resolution? Experiments will continue until this is figured out. It’s a bummer because the sunset last night was brilliant, and there were quite a few fireworks that I was hoping to capture.

The important thing is that the audio worked, so I got all that.
