Wolfgang Faust is doing us all a service by paying for the url and maintaining this repository. Now we have an easy reference for how to make longer strings in yaml, and when to use | (keep the newlines) or > (replace with space) in the results.

I have no idea who is responsible for YAML Checker (another single page site, btw), and it unfortunately has some ads running on it. On the plus side, it works well on my iPad and it is obvious what to do. There are good error messages too.
I checked out a couple of alternatives, but they didn’t work on my iPad or were too busy. If you’ve got a suggestion, just email me about it.
