It’s me again, Justin, starting another writing experiment. The goal is to be less sprawling, more vulnerable, less perfection gated. More frequent and atomic.

Why? Because I think writing is thinking and I think that is important. Taking some vague feeling and putting it on a piece of paper where you can see it, that’s useful. Seeing what you see there, and if it’s saying what you meant to say, that’s still not easy. Putting it out there, for me, is still a challenge. So this is practice, practice, practice. I believe that quantity is the best way of building quality; gotta have experience to develop taste.

AI Policy

I will not use AI to write any words on this blog. All the words are my own and I stand by them.

The first three posts are test posts written by Claude while standing up this site. I have clearly labeled them as such.

Professionally I cannot avoid using AI; I will also make use of it here on the technical side. I plan to write about that too, but not about the tech. I may write about the experience of experiencing that, since we’re all experiencing it to some degree or another and I think I have something to add there.
